This 200 m² apartment located in the upper area of Barcelona required a complete refurbishment that included a global restyling of interior design and decoration.
Once again, the customer’s essentials for this project were comfort, elegance, a family programme tailored to their needs, and the personal style that the Ferruz Studio team interpreted. From the first moment, it was clear that the range of greys would generate a common theme, providing an elegant and urban atmosphere to the property. The personality of the space as a whole was provided on the one hand by the restoration of architectural pieces such as the walkway frames, panelling and floors, and on the other by the restoration of some of the family’s furniture pieces with sentimental value.
Faced with the needs of the customer and modern life, the distribution was changed, adapting it to new work and leisure areas. Some ceilings were also lowered to add air conditioning, losing the lowest possible height.
The kitchen by Italian firm Dada was a very important part of the project and everything was made from scratch, adding space to the service area. A custom work island was designed, and different spaces were added for cooking and serving dishes in view of the diners.
The result was a cosmopolitan-style work with an elegant atmosphere that fits perfectly into the customer’s lifestyle.
