Casa Decor in Barcelona
Ferruz Studio participated in the Barcelona edition with the Ludoteca (games room), a leisure space divided into three areas: a dining area, a cards area, and a recreational area in which the customer can enjoy some Txoko-style wines.
The central space, the area dedicated to gastronomy, has a glossy lacquered table, inspired by Japanese culture, and breaks the concept of eating at a certain height.
The difference in level is used to reach a point of relaxation without leaving out comfort, which is achieved with pillow supports to rest the lower back.
The Ludoteca also has a wine cellar where wine tastings take place. A refrigerated space where the shelves are replaced by modular bottle racks, also designed by Ferruz, allow murals tailored to the needs to be made at any given moment and also store the wine in optimal conditions.
In the centre of the space is the tasting cube, designed by Ferruz Studio, which includes all the necessary elements: a backlit tabletop that helps to appreciate the colour of the wines, and a storage space for glasses, books, and other tools from the world of wine.
The large windows emphasise the spaciousness of the space and bring a sense of closeness to the wine cellar. The walls are dressed in art, an element that is repeated in all projects carried out by our studio.
Finally, the leisure area, a multifunctional space with sofas and a TV, perfect for relaxing, becomes a large Home Cinema with the help of a state-of-the-art digital projection system, hidden inside the main unit.
