Who would guess that this apartment has 96 m² of interior space? Our goal is always to maximize the performance of renovated spaces, adapting to the needs of our clients. In this case, the clients are a young couple whose priority was to expand the living area to enjoy gatherings and moments with friends.

The apartment is in a 1926 building and was in a very dilapidated state, but from the beginning, we saw that it had a lot of potential. A strong point is the height of more than 3 meters, which adds a stately touch, and we wanted to maximize it.
Among the highlights of the renovation was the structural rehabilitation. A key architectural action was a structural opening in an area that formed a small gallery. This allowed us to achieve a more open kitchen and incorporate an island kitchen that also integrates the dining area.

This space previously housed a small closed kitchen, the dining room, a bedroom, and the gallery. By transforming these spaces into a single, fully open dining-living room, we have achieved an unimaginable space for an apartment of this size. With the placement of the new windows, we sought maximum opening to the 44 m² terrace that is part of this room, providing exceptional light and connecting the interior with the exterior, creating a feeling of spaciousness.
The kitchen combines grooved oak wood with marble, a mixture that highlights the warm colors of the environment. In the central part, the display cabinets elegantly showcase the glassware, becoming an attractive focal point. The great height of 3 meters allowed us to add a third level of kitchen cabinets, ideal for storage.

The interior design of the apartment is characterized by a very white and bright structure, enhanced by modern furniture with classic touches, such as moldings and curtains, which add elegance and distinction. As for the flooring, warm oak wood was chosen, placed in a herringbone pattern, which combines with the warmth of the furniture.

The master suite is another highlight of the renovation. Behind sliding doors is an elegant and sober bathroom in dark colors. Here, we wanted to enhance the height of the space by installing smoked screens at the maximum height of the apartment and a large mirror that maximizes the feeling of spaciousness. Although it is a compact bathroom, these elements help the space feel much larger.

This comprehensive renovation has not only transformed an apartment in poor condition into a modern and elegant home but has also optimized every square meter, making the most of the original structure and adapting it to the contemporary needs of its inhabitants.
